Corrections Policy

Pakistanipro.net corrects factual errors promptly and openly. If we get something wrong, we fix it and tell readers what changed. Last updated: 17 October 2026.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with:

  1. The link to the article.
  2. The exact statement you believe is wrong.
  3. The correct information and, if possible, a source (an official notice, document or link).

You can also use our Contact page.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge correction requests and aim to review them within two working days.
  • We check the claim against primary sources. Requests are not accepted automatically; the correction must be supported by evidence.
  • If we confirm an error, we correct the article as soon as possible.

How corrections are shown

Type of change How we show it
Factual error (wrong price, date, figure, name or claim) Corrected in the article, with an “Updated” note at the top or bottom stating what was wrong and what was changed, and the date.
New information in a developing story Article updated with the new information and the updated date shown.
Spelling, grammar or formatting Fixed without a note, as long as the meaning does not change.
Serious error that undermines the whole article The article is corrected or, if it cannot be fixed, removed with an explanation.

Prices and figures that change

Some articles, such as fuel, gold, phone and car prices, are updated regularly because the underlying figures change. A price change based on a new official or market rate is an update, not a correction, and the article shows the date the new figure applies to.

Why this matters

Readers rely on our articles to make decisions about money, deadlines and official procedures. Being open about mistakes is part of being trustworthy. Our wider standards are set out in our Editorial Policy.
